A dwarf (plural: dwarfs or dwarves) is a short and shout creature, despite length almost as heavy as a regular human, that is often associated with mining, metalworking, crafting and wisdom. Among their qualities are also said to be storytelling and a good sense of humor, as well as strength and bravory. Dwarfs are known to often live in mountains, caves or below earth surface.

Known dwarfsEdit

  • The species (plural: dwarves) appears in several of Tolkien's works, including The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. Most well-known dwarf individual in these works is Gimli.
  • The dwarves are also a playable race in World of Warcraft. It is however the least played race of the Alliance, according to a 2010 census.
