Spectre's interest in sci-fi started up after watching the original Star Wars when he was only 8 years old. From there, he soon was attracted to the Star Trek genre and "Star Trek: The Next Generation" became his favorite series. From then, Spectre grew more and more intrested in Star Trek, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, and Farscape. He is an avid golfer and, in his second year of playing, broke 100 one week, followed by 2 weeks of training and an even lower score of 94, which is a pretty good accomplishment for an ameutur. His other interests include football, soccer, and gaming systems.
Simming History Edit
Prior to coming to the FSF, Spectre had been simming since the end of 1996, or, age-wise, since he was 9 years old.
Spectre came to the FSF in 2002 as a regular simmer. Under FSF Morpheus, he cut his teeth in the FSF on Starbase Adelphi as the Marine Commanding Officer. He remained there when he became a host, but he was known as FSF Killgrey back then. He got his first hosting gig on Starbase Capricorn, where he only managed to host for a few months when a computer failure and the unlikely future of getting a new one forced him to resign from the FSF as a host and simmer to prevent his sims from suffering.
In 2004, he returned in full force, coming back to Adelphi, this time under FSF Sheridan and FSF Macleod. Spectre's old position was filled, but Sheridan was looking for a new aspect to add to Adelphi, so the Starfleet Elite Tactical Operations Squad (SETOS) was formed and Spectre was appointed its Commanding Officer, having the experience and dedication to do it. He also joined Stargate: SG-3, which he would later become the co-host of with FSF Perez, who suggested he become a host. Six months later, he again applied as a host. Upon gaining his hostship, selected the name of Spectre to honor the memories of friends no longer with us; plus it sounded cool. Almost two months into his probationary period as a host, he became the co-host of the USS Phoenix with FSF Scythe. While this was a rather new thing for him, hosting two simulations, he stepped up when BOTH hosts went on LOA for RL reasons, leaving him to tend to both sims. Omega Fleet was a bit shakey during this time, as a temporary CO was brought in, and Spectre even managed to help Starla out with this job. During both stints as a host FSF Morpheus mentored him.
In January of 2006, FSF Spectre became the Executive Officer of Omega Fleet.
On 15 February 2006, he received the news from Morpheus' wife that Morpheus had passed away the Sunday before after losing the fight with his cancerous brain tumor. This was a severe blow to him, as Morpheus was like a father to him and had always been a good friend.
As of April 2006, Spectre became the senior member of the Host Hiring Board in the FSF.
