Popcornman (Ryan) is a role-player who serves as the Personnel Chair of the Starfleet Legacy Alliance.
Simming history
Popcornman was introduced to role playing through Dungeons & Dragons at the age of 8. He found a VHS of TNG at the library and fell in love. He found his first pbem sim in 2001 abroad the USS Hornet. The USS Hornet disbanded in 2004 and returned to D&D.
In 2008, He found Starfleet Legacy Alliance and joined the USS Ark Royal as a confident Tactical Officer, Trisha Logan and a shy and eventual drug addicted science officer, Danial Rush.
By 2010, Popcornman become the XO of the USS Pegasus, the Manheim Fleet Captain and had multiple characters throughout the SLA fleet including Addycus "Addy" Baron of the Monarch.
In 2011, He switch to the Asimov Fleet Captain.
In 2013, He became the Personnel Chair, taking over for Kris after she became the Council Moderator.
He currently still writes as Addy of the Monarch.
Real life
In real life, Popcornman is an active person. He is an ironman triathlete, a lighting tech at the local theater, a dog owner and a table top gamer.
