Raphael is the childlike Leviathan hated among other kingdoms. He's cold and sadistic to those he doesn't know and not very nice to those he does know either, actually.
Appearance[]
Although all of the Leviathan kin were born at the same exact time, Raphael seems to have a childish complex about him and this causes him to maintain the appearance of a human child. This does not deter his physical abilities however because despite the childish complex, he also has a god complex. He has light, pale white skin all about his body yet it compliments his snowy hair well. Raphael also has ruby orbs that glisten in that moonlight which he longs for his entire life, for in Purgatory, there is no form of natural light. Despite having such an immature build, his slender frame is still somewhat defined with muscles though this is probably because of how "skinny" he is. On each nimble finger, the nail is painted a shade of black. His ensemble usually consists of some white, almost angelic garbs which is almost the opposite of him.
Personality[]
- Childish: For some strange reason, Raphael seems to have a childish complex which only fuels his comedic traits. Although all of the Leviathans are essentially the same age and are incapable of procreating, Raphael stills views himself as the youngest of them all and the Vanbond family can only concur.
- Sadistic: To almost everyone who knows him, they will realize he cares not about their feelings if they are not Merceron or Kyomatsu. He tortures those who don't know him both physically and mentally while leaving the breaking of spirit to his peers within the Vanbond castle.
- Cold: It is apparent that he lacks most feelings when it comes to anyone other than Kyo and Merc apparently. This may be the reason he is able to successfully fulfill his sadist actions.
- Manipulative: Because of his sadist mindset and cold heart, Raphael also manipulates people to his advantage. He has no care in the world of their earthly status nor their gender nor any of form of classification. If he wants to use you, he shall have his way with either your mind or your body.
- Comedic: Despite all of his mainpulative, apathetic ways, Raphael is still childish in most cases. This allows him to be fairly comical in terms of casual actions and speech.
Weapons (Main) & Abilities[]
Hell's Wrath[]
Raphael, being the magic specialist he is, only carries a single weapon and that weapon would be a rapier that he can summon through his hand without a spell or incantation. The sword lives inside of him and many would say that the sword itself is the key to one of Hell's Gates. It is a slender, sharply pointed, double-edged sword with a protective hilt. Although this weapon is normally a rapier, it has the ability to change form or merge with his body and turn his body into a weapon. The transformation is usually into a gun of some sorts. It has two different uses, however. The first use would be to be used in the creation of gates that would allow Raphael to move through space and time without disrupting the continuum, similar to teleportation. The second use would be to slay demonic and angelic creatures specifically, which can be triggered psionically of course. It does this by phasing through the physical realm, thus not really harming the vessel the creature occupies, and into the astral realm in which all demonic creatures and angelic creatures exist, allowing him to stab, slash and lacerate the very soul/life essence of said creature. It attacks much like hell fire and holy fire, but unlike the two, it is not biased. All of these entities are the same to him. This second use not only applies to demons and angels but also applies to other entities and deities that roam the astral realm (Spirits, demons, angels, ghosts, poltergeists, etc.). Humans who have learned astral travel and just happen to be there at that moment in time can have their souls ripped from their body if they're hit by the blade.
Abaddon's Charm[]
After signing a contract with a 'demon god', Raphael created an innate method of utilizing his famed Hellfire. This contract did not make him demonic in any way, however. It only allowed him to conjure the infernos from the deepest pits of Hell. Hellfire is an inextinguishable black flame that can incinerate anything to the point of leaving absolutely no byproduct (not even ashes), and even smother and "burn" normal fire and water. Abaddon's Charm is a small bracelet in its simplest form, however, for protective mean, the bracelet is able to take the shape of anything Raphael thinks of. Tis even able to phase through his physical body to take refuge within him so that no one else may use/steal it. In an attempt to somewhat equal his Leviathan brethren's power, the Charm also allows him to steal the power of those he's killed and imprison their souls within it, using them as he wishes. Currently, by murdering [killer7041], he has achieved the power to drop temperatures in his vicinity by manipulating thermal energy, control all four of the respective elements as well as perform feats through the use of blood manipulation and hemomancy.
Leviathan Physiology[]
- Superhuman Conditions
Being simply a Leviathan in a human form, Raphael hones physical and mental qualities far beyond human capabilities. In terms of strength without effort, he is easily able to punch someone with one thousand and five hundred pounds of pressure, effortlesly blowing a hole through someone. His most notable feat would be his immense speed, able to reach the speed of sound with little to no momentum. It can be noted that around his body is an innate aura that protects him from the effects of breaking otherwise fatal Mach speeds. Within the confines of his natural element and in his massive Leviathan form, Raphael is able to go toe-to-toe and even surpass the strongest of beings with nothing but the raw force of his physical blows. Any level of weight he needs to lift is irrelevant as his body can emit force that can repel an object of any mass. With this ability, he could shatter planets with his fists alone and even tear through space-time anomalies with the sheer force of his strikes.
- Leviathan Digestive System
Raphael's jaws are incredibly flexible and can be unhinged with ease, enabling them to open their mouths incredibly wide. He has a particularly strong bite because of sharp teeth, strong jaw-muscles, and an unusual jaw-structure. He can eat anything without harmful effects regardless of what they consume. He can consume matter in any form - solid, liquid or gas. Everything that Raphael consumes ends up in a solitary cave deep in Purgatory allowing him to consume things without an end.
- Immunity
Raphael's lungs acclimatize and breathe in any gaseous mediums, whether hostile or deficient,his lungs also filter away non-gaseous substances such as dust, asbestos, etc. He can breathe toxic gases instead of oxygen and survive aerial or terrene air deficiency. Rapahel's immunity, digestive, and other organ systems also are enhanced or evolved far beyond that of a normal human's. He is completely immune to every form of disease brought on by bacteria, viruses, or even parasites, allowing his DNA to be used to create cures for the worst diseases. Raphael can breathe in both water and air and is capable of staying underwater as long as he'd like and reemerge ready to breathe oxygen again. Raphael also can adapt to whatever has killed him once he resurrects, becoming resistant to it and more durable afterwards, possibly even immune.
- Air Manipulation
As a result of his kinship, Raphael also controls his own element, air. When speaking of air, he actually is able to directly control the true elements which it is composed of: oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide and argon (as well as the smaller, insignificant and unnamed gases). With this ability, he is able to create new compounds as well as defuse compounded elements. He can utilize every form of wind to his advantage allowing for many things such as flight and/or to increase his already supernatural speed. The air can also be utilized to create many things such as breezes, squalls, gusts, whirlwinds, zephyrs, gales, tempests, and hurricanes. His most famed use of his air manipulation is the oxygen manipulation. He has been known to neutralize flames by withdrawing the oxygen as well as enhance ally's flames by adding oxygen to it as fuel. The second most apparent specialization in the use of air is that he is able to create many small bombs and mines via air pockets. These pockets are extremely useful because they are virtually invisible and unable to be detected my conventional means. The final use of the element of air is unknown because all who have witnessed it never live to tell the tale. Not even Kyomatsu and Merceron are aware of its extreme power. This specialty is broken into two separate techniques, however. The first is the utilization of a thin, precise air bullet which is performed by using compressed air pressure for supersonic bursts. The second would be much more difficult to avoid. It is utilized by creating thousands upon thousands of tiny air pockets which would find their way within his opponent. These invisible, undetectable air pockets would then explode his foe from the inside out, inevitably rupturing vital organs and destroying the enemy in a single blow.
- Ichthyoid Manipulation
Raphael can influence all forms of fishes and sharks and use them to do his bidding. Raphael could also call them from any ocean in the world (for example, calling a great white shark in the Atlantic Ocean while being in the Indian Ocean). Raphael can also understand or communicate with them, hence creating and strengthening friendships.
